Christopher Peter Meloni was an American actor, best well-known for his part in the well-known television series Law & Order Special Victims Unit'. His interest in acting began in his early college days. He studied acting at University of Colorado at Boulder. His characters in television are gaining him lots of recognition. It is no surprise that his characters have been able to capture audiences' attention by playing characters that are either sides of the law. He was the character of the serial killer on his first television project and then later played of an NYPD detective. He's been nominated numerous times for the highly coveted Emmy Awards and the PRISM Awards for his tiny screen appearances. One of his most distinctive facial features is said to have been the piercing blue eyes which have helped him portray characters who are rough and charismatic. The People's Magazine's list of Sexiest Men Alive included him.
